The Brief
Because of a NDA I can’t use the original name of the project.
Pharmaceutical App is an internal tool for pharmaceutical representative sales. The mobile iOS application and web frontend helps door to door sales representatives to manage their clients, inventory and sales while the web-back end allowed the company to keep track of all their resources, both human and material.
The project comprised a frontend website, a backend website and a mobile iOS application for iPad devices. Both websites had been already completed before hand, the development team consisted of two programmers including myself and an artist.
My Role in the Project
I had an active role in the development on of the mobile API and the iOS app using Objective C. Some of the modules I worked on were:
· Database design.
· CRUD services and interfaces for the website and both apps.
· User Authentication.
· User role and permissions system.
· Internal device storage using SqLite.
·
Mobile API.
· Custom navigation controller.
· Custom UI elements.
· Http request module.
· Custom navigation drawer implementation.
· Synchronization controller for offline usage.
· Custom questionnaires (created on the back end displayed on mobile).
· Version management using SVN.
