The Brief
Vademecum is an online catalog and library of pharmaceutical products. The application offers the information about both these products and their active ingredients. Vademecum also allows users to create a list of active components and check for any existing interactions between them, in other words a possible side effect generated by combining these ingredients.
This project has an existing website and API developed and maintained by a different company, our team consisted of myself as programmer and an artist, both tasked with the development of an iOS app and an Android app.
Some of the modules I worked on were:
· Database design.
· CRUD services and interfaces for both apps.
· User Authentication.
· Internal device storage using Core Data for iOS and SqLite for Android.
· Http request module.
· Custom navigation drawer implementation on both mobile applications.
· A custom extendable list for Android and iOS.
· Version management using SVN.
